Definitive Solutions in partnership with SonicWall have recently been selected as a supplier on the country’s Office of Government Procurement (OGP) Framework for Firewalls and Associated Services. This framework allows organisations to forward tenders for public procurement. Operating as part of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, OGPs framework is designed to offer best-of-breed solutions to the Irish public sector.
Definitive Solutions has been in partnership with SonicWall for over 15 years and has developed to meet the changing needs of our SME/Enterprise clients. The Platinum Partner level is by invitation only and firmly establishes Definitive Solutions as The SonicWall Experts in Ireland. We are the only SonicWall SecureFirst Platinum Partner in Ireland to receive this award.
Alongside our partner awards, we participate in regular technology events. Our managing director, Peter, was a guest speaker at the “IT Trail Blazers” event in the Aviva Dublin, where he shared his experience with other IT professionals in best practice in delivering Managed IT Services.
Peter was also a member of the Expert Discussion Panel at the StorageCraft European Conference in Oct 2019 where he shared his approach to best practice in Disaster Recovery and Cloud Backup.
We have participated in the Small Firms Association GDPR discussion panel to discuss GDPR concerns affecting small businesses.
As a member of the SonicWall Security Partner Council, we regularly participate in product roadmaps/features and can represent our clients and their experiences directly through this channel.
In May 2019, our MD, Peter Meade was the only Irish representative at the European SonicWall Partner meeting in San Francisco, where we shared our thoughts on Cyber Security with the CEO.
In 2012 we achieved the then new Microsoft Cloud Solutions Partner competency and in 2019 we achieved Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Competency, adding another layer of security skill to our Silver Partnership. We are an authorised Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) and are the first point of contact for our clients using Microsoft products.

February 2018 we became the first (and only) SonicWall Authorised Services Partner in Ireland, recognising our skills and experience in deploying SonicWall security solutions. We are now authorised to deliver security solutions on behalf of SonicWall.
In 2015 we were presented with the Dell Network Security Partner of the year award, the first time this accolade had been awarded in Ireland. This was industry recognition by one of the largest computer companies of our success in network security.
